So moving along... yes I am stoked. Tomorrow I get to sleep in, fix up my lisence and bank details, go shopping for party food and tie up a heap of loose end jobs that I've been meaning to crack the back of for a while. Needed the day off really. Then one can enjoy one's up and coming birthday weekend.
Sneeze. Dust. 3 times.
What can I cook at home that will generously feed about 5 - 6 people? I was thinking like either crappy party foods (gems with mayo and tomato sauce... yup try it. AWESOME)... or homemade burgers, or a whopping great casserole or hotdogs or BBQ? TOO MANY CHOICES!!!
Man I ain't getting very far with this post. Been sitting here for 20 minutes already. Too much happening on facebook tonight. Gasp I hear you think? Yes yes I know I boycotted it. I still find it interesting. Plus I miss the people that I actually talked to on facebook regularly. Seemed a bit mean just to throw the entire towel in. I just threw a flannel in I guess. Rest assured (not that you really care, but I care so I'm just assuring myself here...) I don't sit on the computer nowhere near as much as I used to, like... every night before going to bed and then wondering why I can't sleep because my brain is still buzzing from the overload of electricity and stimulation from typing and thinking all at the same time. I watch tv now. In bed. Usually How I Met Your Mother. SO EXCITED ITS COMING BACK NEXT WEEK!!!! NEW EPISODES!!!! And Barney is promoted it on channel 7. Why do I get so excited when I see my favourite characters (note, Amercian characters), promoting stuff, plugging Australian channels on our tvs (ie. Marshall and Lily saying "Right here on Channel 7...)? I have simple pleasures. Freakin' awesome. I couldn't think of the word that sounded cooller than 'promote'. I just had to google it. I am lame.
Tv before bed though is still bad. Same stimulation. But not so much thinking, right? Right.
How awesome what the Top Ten Hottest (almost wrote Hootest, har har)... 100 yesterday evening? Silo (or is it Seelo or Sealo? Who cares...) Green, #7? SERIOUSLY? I thought that was a sure fire winner. Though I shouldn't complain it's not like I voted or really cared. It would have made something anyway. How stoned did Angus Stone sounded when they were brought up after being announced the winners.... "Bonanza." Um... spare the excitement dude!
Shall I move on from this question? I'm kind of tangenting here aren't I? Hey, blogging is blogging no matter what category it's coming under. You're still getting a good read.
Eating: I had dessert tonight (which was 2 giant 'pods' I handmade yesterday - see yesterday's blog for a complete rundown). Shutup. I went to Zumba class and felt good that I actually sweated a bit and the ol' ticker got a bit up there (now that's awesome grammar for you). Will be doing that again next week. Plus Step class, though I hated every minute of that from Tuesday. I was so buggered 2/3's of the way though, and looking in the mirrors I seriously was the least energetic in the class, and there were about 30 people in the room. I was really trying too, and that made me feel so unfit. Embarrassment. Gotta keep at it. Gotta lose that belly flabbage (hey, that rhymes with cabbage. Funny!). But my belly cabbage is not funny. It must fly. The flab must fly!
I am sick of the Jetplane song already. I've heard it play 3 times on JJJ today. Overkill!! Yes, it's great it won, but don't get everyone hating it before it's brought out on the CD!!!
Note: I want the new Iron and Wine CD (heard rave reviews), I also want to investigate the new Cat Empire CD (haven't heard a THING about it this time... mustn't have been that awesome I guess? Not inspired to download it yet.) It's been out for months.
Drinking: just finished a fine cup of tea stuff. Velly nice. Though mild caffeine hit maybe not such a great idea before beddies?
Listening to: the last thing I did most litereally with my ears is have a brief chat to my mother dearest on the phone before I went into Coles. Now, going into Coles was really annoying. What happened was, I had my Zumba class this evening until 5:45pm, headed home - STOKED to be home, tired... got in the door. Mr Harris was there, keen to start up our tacos for dinner. And then it hit me. The thing I forgot to get today that I promised myself I wouldn't forget. I threw out our last bunch of lettuce this morning due to it being sludgey in it's plastic bag. Not piggies, nor humans could or would eat that. So I tossed it. And I reminded myself I needed to get one that afternoon for tacos. Realised at that moment when I walked in the door (well, just as I had pulled off my shoes and about to collapse on the couch) I forgot lettuce... and was so mad. Trudged... I really trudged... think Barney moment in How I Met Your Mother when he is waiting for Ted to say something, and is slow-motion walking out the kitchen door (I just tried googling it but can't find the episode... BLAST!!!!)... hoping Mr Harris would do the deed for me (no such luck... must work on telepathic abilities...) back out the door, to drive down the road to pick up some lettuce and some amazing $35 worth of something elses. At this point I was just frazzled and tired and whingey. But yes, in answer to question my mumsy called me just as I was about to head into Coles to pick up $35 of food stuffs.
Just finished: Sneezing, a cup of tea, dinner, watching Top Gear and chatting to palsy's on facebook. Man I am such a hypocrite.
After this, I'm going to: bed. Simple, beautiful, cool sheeted, fan blown bed. With sand from yesterday. It came out of my hair in the night. Sand gets in weird places. We all know that don't we?
One wish for the day:
To not have given my poor boss quite so much work to do tomorrow. Feel a bit slack that I didn't finish as much as I should have today. Oh well! Good luck to bossman and Kylie the graphic designer. I wrote a list...
"Idiot on the Road" moment: There were plenty today, mostly more annoying ones were the 'careful' drivers... driving 10km under the speed limit on the highway and on the normal streets. Left laners, granted. Still annoying. Especially when they slow right down to 80-70km about 2km from their exit. You can slow down when your exit is actually right there my friend.

I have nothing else to add! These questions pretty much cover everything - granted I do tangent a heck of a lot. Oh well! It all gets out there one way or another.
Here's to a fabulous Friday - and a wicked weekend!!!
Y'all's in bloggy boggness...
