20/01/11: My god, I have a wedding ring anti-tan.

Mood: Lets see... it's been an up-and-down last couple of days, thanks to the stinking heat, my mood swings, my lack of concentration and inability to knuckle down hence making mistakes and feeling like poop (at work, this is...), ummm.... in summary I've been a mix of depressed, frustrated, spaced-out, ansty, irritated (is that the same thing? Let's add it anyway), switched off, uncaring, caring too much, cold, hot, angry, sad.... but now... this is right now? I am feeling content. Odd? I'll say. Man, I feel like a woman. *Baaap badda daa daa du duh!!*

Eating: Mmm man-o-man (they need to bring that show back I say), I had a ripper dinner tonight. Super saucy homemade thai green curry (well, ok the sauce mix wasn't home made, but ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS HERE...). Not so much rice, but loads of chicken, gravy, onions and carrots. More like a soup there was that little rice. So good that way!! Needs a bit more vegies though (ooooo bean sprouts, snow peas, capsicum... the possibilities. I use bracketted thoughts as much as I use normal written prose. Annoying?). So dinner was tops.

Drinking: in the coollness of the evening. Finally it is upon us! Better than saying water again, right?

Watching: Only watched double episode of Simpsons tonight while eating dins. Episode where Homer can't connect with any of his kids and Maggie saves him in the ocean... and the second episode where Apu and his wife decide to have A kid. Turns out to be 8. Ha. Good stuff. Though I will admit I have never been fanatical about watching the Simpsons. I'll watch it, and enjoy it. But I won't kill myself if I miss a new episode, I was never that 'into' them like everyone else is. I don't know the quotes, I don't know all the characters. But it seems that a lot of people do. I think I've missed the Simpsons boat back when I didn't watch it when I was younger. Oh well! Bring on Family Guy. Though the 'It's a Trap!' Stars Wars special wasn't anything to write home about. They said it in the opening credits - talk about being forced to do the other 2 sequels. So not-as-funny-as-the-original 'Blue Harvest'. I am rambling here so I will digress...

Listening to: my yoga breathing belly. I wish I was. I just realised I wasn't doing it and should be. To relax. Did yoga last night, way awesome. Like an hour self-massage (no, no... not THAT kind of massage you sicko...). I have been away for a few days, haven't I? Kinda needed the break, was having long days staring at a computer screen and I didn't want to come home and stare at another computer screen for another hour writing blabble (that's a good word).

BLABBLE: (verb) A hybrid action between 'babbling' and... something that starts with 'Bl-' ...dammit, almost had something good there.

Just finished: Writing a mini-biography for my Awards Presentation ceremony coming up in March for my Diploma of Piano Playing Awesomeness (it's Diploma of Popular Music but that just sounded way better). Have to fly down to Melbourne to a place called 'Kew' and get the gown hire and everything! Have to play the piano in front of a hopefully NOT massive crowd. Had to write the biography I think for their little concert pamphlet thingy. Very cool. I get to go on a plane and back in one day - bring it on!!

After this, I'm going to: have a snoozeness. Late start tomorrow so I get a sleep in, yay! Haven't done that on a weekday in ages. Well, lie. I did this morning, though my alarm went off early. Blast my forgetfulness!

One wish for the day:
For tomorrow to fly by so the weekend can begin!! Not long til my birfday, yee haw!! Have to think of something clever for my costume... not having much luck as yet. Famous Dead People...

"Idiot on the Road" moment: This one was yesterday, when a massive storm loomed over the Gold Coast for my drive home around 5pm. Lots of rain in a very short amount of time. And people panic at such amounts of water falling from the sky. Cause rain is like, totes scary, right? Hmm. So I'm driving along the highway, lefthand lane, basically crawling at 60km/hr because everyone has freaked out at the immediate onset of sky falling water. No big deal, we're still moving. Obviously someone needed to get somewhere really fast, or they were just being a road retard. I see fly past me (now, this is the LEFT SIDE of me, and as you remember I am in the left hand lane here...), fly past me in the skinny bit of shoulder road, in a massive 4WD truck thing at like 80km/hr. WHAT THE??? ARE YOU INSANE?? He must have had like 2cm on either side of his car getting through that. I'm amazed he didn't take anyone's mirrors off. What a tool. Rain does some weird things to people. Let's hope his wife was in labour or something honorable like that.

Happy as a pig in mustard to report that the newly weds (ie Ruskii and Soda) are lovin' it up in the Harris garage. So cute! They're sharing dry food still and Soda seems to be mad for big hay piles. She buries in underneath it and just sits in there, surrounded by hay/food. Love it. I'd love that too actually if I were a piggy. They both seem really stoked to be in each others company, and even Seb and Charlie like her through the gates. She doesn't seem to mind them either which is amazing.

NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! Ain't they just the cutest???

So that's the coot stuffs.

I've honestly had a crap last couple of days, just stupid moods and not really figuring out what's making me moody or how to fix it. It might be sugar detox? Unlikely. I'm still trying to plough through my peanut butter chocochunko biscuits so they're out of my fridge, so that hardly helps, considering I ate like 3 of them today. THEY MUST BE GONE!!!
I've been totally out of it at work, which hasn't done me any favours. Its like I know I have all this crap to do, but my brain is on one side of the room and my physical actually DOING it is way over the other side, and really can't get it's arse across to meet. This is my problem. I've had a lot of important jobs that have needed doing, but I've been so out of it, that I realise it needs doing, I'm taking forever to do it, and hence I get 'out of it' frustrated. Which I'll admit it a strange sensation. I know I am frustrated, but yet I am still detatched. It's odd. I've been making loads of silly little mistakes that I normally wouldn't make - and again this makes me look bad in front of bossman and makes me feel like utter incompetenceness. Not helping. It's been a long week, and a bit of a downward spiral for me this week.
BUT!

Rest assured that is all over now. I hit my low point just before lunch today, and decided to go and sit on the beach for 20 minutes, just soaking up the sun, sand between my toes and watching the ocean do it's thing, just forgetting all the crap I was trying to deal with and failing. Yoga breathing too. That must have helped. Going back into work I felt better and kept feeling better, to the point now where I feel completely fine and ready to tackle the last day of the week. I hope next week isn't like that, I couldn't handle being an annoying arse like that every week! BLEH!! Stupid blundering detatched idiot. Tsk! OO!!!! Blundering!!!! THATS THE WORD I NEEDED!!!!

*EDIT* BLABBLE: (verb) A hybrid action between 'babbling' and 'blundering'.
(Yessss!)

Saw preview for Black Swan on Today. I am intrigued and Natalie Portman looks perfect as a ballerina - skinny and square jaw. Looks a bit mildly freaky as well.

Do want to see Tangled. Again. Dang I will have to wait for it to come out on DVD now I spose, can't keep wasting precious pennies on big screen amazingness *sigh*. Oooo, unless I get the "Art of" book? That would be a nice substitute... ahem.... (it's my birthday soon... www.amazon.com... hehehe).

I'm annoyed that it's going to take ages to get my license and bank cards changed over to my new married name, considering I work until 4:15pm every day and both places are shut by 4:30pm. Ugh. What to do? Might have to take an early arvo sometime just so I can get it done... still. The two biggest forms of ID I need to change and they're the most painful, grrr!

YAY FOR AUSTRALIA DAY HOLIDAY NEXT WEEK!!!! Thank you mid week break. So good!!

Anyhoosies that will be all for this evening. I am ready for Bedfordshire, as Bridget Jones would say. Read the book, pretty cool. Considering I bought it for 50c.
